In the Mirror of Anish Kapoor
Welcome again!
Grown up in Berlin/Germany, now I am living in Zandvoort, a small village near Amsterdam/The Netherlands.
Starting with photography in 1983, since this time I have shown my work on several exhibitions within the Benelux.
I completed my education on photography by workshops with international well-known photographers like Franco Fontana, Duane Michals, Alex Webb, Andre Gelpke, Rutger ten Broeke and many others. In addition I studied History of Art and Culture at the Free University Amsterdam.
2010 - 2014 I was chairman of 'Beeldende Kunstenaars Zandvoort', a group of artists in my hometown and I am chairman-of-honor of the Society of Dutch Amateur Photographers Amsterdam.
My main concern is the relationship between people and their surrounding: architecture and/or nature. Photography 'in-public' is one of my main issues. On the other hand I like the sea which I can see every day from my window.
